A Black Operation

United States Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance (FORECON)
Prypiat, Ukraine
31 October 2010

[The Pentagon received satellite surveillance report of a suspicious activity in Ukraine. A possible WMD. They didn't want a Nuclear War to happen. They ordered the US Marine Corps to survey the area to confirm the report. God bless us all.]

"How can someone do something like this? This is madness. Its inhuman." - Lieutenant Fritz Green

Inside a CH-53E Super Stallion somewhere near the drop point
[15:00]
Captain Brandon "Sting" Miller together with his team, Lieutenant Fritz Green, Sergeant Sergio Vasquez, Private Ryan Davis and Private Jason Torero, had a mission briefing on Operation Clandestine. Judging by the photographs, it may seem that people were just looting.

Are we being dropped in the middle of fucking nowhere just to shoo these people away from a radioactive area?

Captain Miller explained to the new recruit that these are not just ordinary people and this isn't the middle of nowhere. After the disaster, this city is an unusual place to go "looting." Private Torero immediatly apologized to the Captain for his arrogance.

We must all concentrate on our mission, remember we cannot compromise our positions. We are going there to get some intel and confirm the report. We must keep a low profile.

The team gave the Captain a Hoo Ra.

3.8 miles away from the city border of Prypiat
[15:35]
At that current time, they couldn't find a closer drop off area. They had to keep a low profile. They all had to go on foot to reach their destination. This may be an obstacle but marines are marines.

Alright ladies, let's move out. We must get in position before 16:00. It gets pretty dark in this area considering that it is a ghost town.

Sting's team continued their operation, took a hike towards the outskirts of the city.

Outskirts of Prypiat
[15:52]
After the tiring sprint, the whole team took quick rest while the Captain surveyed the area. There were no signs of people in the border. He decided that the team should move building to building in order to avoid open areas where they could be seen.

Inside an abandoned building near the reported activity in Prypiat
[16:00]
Judging by the size from the outside of the target building, Miller was certain that it has numerous basement floors. They have visual of people going in and out of a two story building across the open area infront of their current position. Captain Miller together with Lieutenant Green are on the third floor while the Sergeant and the two Privates are securing the building and positioning themselves on the first floor.

These people look like scientists, they're all in white robes, Private Davis commented. That means we just have to go inside to confirm if it is really a WMD, the Sergeant added.

They waited till all the scientists went inside and they agreed to enter in the balcony of the building where they have the chance to infiltrate without being noticed.

Surprise Surprise
[16:29]
There were only minimal guards in the area. There were about six of them scattered outside the vicinity of the laboratory. Sting ordered to clear out the hostiles without attracting attention. The team put on their suppressors on their armaments and got in position to take them out one by one. They had to take out the sniper on the makeshift tower on top of the structure first. The Captain, apart from the Lieutenant, is the best sniper in the US Marine Corps. He aimed his Barret M107CQ at the enemy. Took a deep breath. Boom! The sniper was drop dead. There was a reason why he was nicknamed "Sting." He had an amazing accuracy even at distance. The other hostiles didn't notice.

One down, Five to go.

Me and Green will give you any support fire if anything bad happens. We'll be on lookout. Sergeant, take your positions.

The other three went behind the empty crates for cover. They waited for the two hostiles on patrol to pass by them. They shot them both. Hid their bodies and carried on.

Three down, Three to go.

Lucky for the team, the last three were having a conversation and are not minding the perimeter. The forward team sneaked behind the hostiles and slit their throats.

Six down.

Looks like this would be an easy mission, you fucking call those guards? Private Torero exclaimed.

[17:23]
After hiding all the bodies, it was time for them to infiltrate the building. They entered the balcony.

Second Floor.
There were no people in this floor and continued to the First floor, still no one there. They noticed a staircase and went down.

First Basement.
Nothing here another staircase downstairs.

Second Basement.
Nothing but there are people down the next floor.

Third Basement.
It's a medium sized area that almost as big as a school auditorium. There were ten people plus two more guards. They passed by the unlit areas to avoid being noticed. Hid behind large crates.

These wacko scientist are mixing up some shit here, said Sergeant Vasquez, it must be a WMD in the making.

Suddenly, a chemist came from the Fourth Basement. He was shouting in Ukrainian. Green understood what the man was saying, He said that there seems to be a problem with Bohomir, his body is reacting with the virus. All of them went down except for the guards. Captain Miller wanted to know what is happening down there.

He was expecting the worst.

[17:49]
They quickly shot down the two hostiles guarding the staircase. Vasquez, Davis and Torero will went back to the First floor to secure the building while Miller and Green continued downstairs. They are still unaware of how many people are really down there, but they were about to find out.

Fourth Basement.
This place looked more like a laboratory compared to the floor above them. It has glass windows and automatic doors.

I wonder why all of them had to go down if only one person was having a virus reaction. Would bringing everyone downstair would affect everybody else?

Lieutenant Green was puzzled by the events happening. Both marines walked down a long hallway. At the end of it was an open area more like an interior of a warehouse building. Both were lying prone to keep their cover. There were at least 50 people in this facility. Five scientists were hitting the rest of the 45 with steel pipes and makeshift bludgeoning weapons. The marines where now confused as to why they were doing this.

Lieutenant, look at the majority of them. Why are they so bloody? Looks like they've been bitten. Judging on the bite marks, looks like they've been biting each other.

They were actually correct, the majority went on bitting the five scientist.

This is cannibalism, what the fuck are they doing?! How can someone do something like this? This is madness. Its inhuman.

The lieutenant lost his cool, blew off their cover, and started to call the attention of the scientist eating up each other.

Stop what you are doing! This isn't right!

None of the bloodied scientist even answered but everyone of them looked at both of them.

These shit heads look like hungry bears Fritz.

The scientists were walking slowly towards them.

Stop we will shoot you if you move any closer!

Stop!

Stop!

No one even stopped. Miller shot one of them who was about to bite him. The scientist went down but was still alive and crawling towards them. Both started to go back upstairs. They had to shoot down every single one of them that was following them. They called the three marines on the first floor to help them clear out the contacts. They all stood their ground on the first basement. Captain Miller radioed in the chinook and will wait at the extraction point. They positioned themselves where they have a good vantage point on the upcoming scientist.

The Escape
[18:55]
They shot everyone of them but they still come back. It's like they don't feel the pain of the gunshots. They immediately moved to the first floor because they are overwhelmed by the number of people wanting to eat them. Everyone except Davis and Vasquez were upstairs because they were holding the line.

Fuck! That mother fucker bit my fucking neck!

The sergeant got bit in the arm. Davis was losing a lot of blood. Vasquez was about to carry Davis back upstairs but his leg was grabbed by the scientists. They started eating his leg bit by bit.

Captain! Go on without me I'll hold these bitches down.

Right after they went outside the building, there was a strong explosion. It was Davis, he used all the grenades he has on the monstrous scientists.

Extraction Point
[19:20]
Inside the transport helicopter was Miller, Green, Torero and Vasquez. The sergeant was severely injured because of the arm bite and needed medication.

Hey Gio, why the hell you let those bitches bite you, said Torero.

It just fucking came on me. It fucking hurts more than getting shot. But hell yeah, I can manage. It's just a small bite anyway.

In memory of Private Ryan Norman Davis, may his soul rest in peace.
